Registration for Swim Team will be held online.
Participants from last year may register on April 17 --- Open registration is on April 19.
Season will run from June 27 to August 12, the Marlins are part of the Craze Swim League, a recreational swim league.
The goal is to introduce swimmers to a swim team experience.
Prerequisites:
6-8 year olds must be able to swim 25 yards of crawl stroke (freestyle) with side breathing and 25 yards of backstroke prior to the first day of practice.
9 and older must be able to swim 50 yards each of crawl stroke (freestyle), backstroke and 25 yards of breaststroke kick prior to the first day practice.
Evaluation appointments can be set up with aquatic staff by calling 425.776.9173 ext. 1120.
Elite: Placement in the Elite practice group requires a minimum time standard listed below:
9-12 year olds: 50 freestyle in 38:50 or faster and 100 IM 1:40.00 or faster.
13-18 year olds: 50 freestyle in 35:50 or faster and 100 IM 1:30.00 or faster.
Evaluations can be set up with Roy or Brian.
Practice Times:
Mornings: Age Group-8:15-9:00am; 9:10-9:55am 10:05-10:50am
Afternoons: Age Group- 4:10-4:55pm
Elite: 3:00-4:00pm
