American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Funds

Update Jan. 3, 2022:
The survey has closed. Thank you so much for the feedback! We look forward to sharing the results.

Earlier this year Congress passed the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) to help address the health and economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. For cities, including Mountlake Terrace, ARPA funds are intended to assist our residents, businesses and nonprofits recover from these impacts.

The City Council will use the community’s input to guide its decision on the best uses for the ARPA funds. The City of Mountlake Terrace is eligible to receive almost $6 million in ARPA funds, which must be committed by the end of 2024. Please keep in mind that only certain approved uses are allowed under this Act.

To help determine how to best spend these funds in the community, the city would like you to review the following categories and rank how these funds could best be used in the Mountlake Terrace community. In addition, you may provide other ideas for the City Council to consider, assuming your ideas are allowed uses under the Act.

Thank you for taking this brief survey.
