A Comprehensive Plan Advisory Group (CPAG) has been formed and appointed by City Council, made up of community members and interested parties, to participate in the planning process and provide diverse community perspectives to help inform the development of the Comprehensive Plan update. The advisory group also features a youth advisory group member, and a Planning Commission and City Council Liaison.
The CPAG will make recommendations to the Mountlake Terrace Planning Commission based on their review of preliminary and draft materials and overall involvement in the planning process. The CPAG will be instrumental in helping City staff and the consultant planning team develop and/or confirm the vision, goals, policies, and actions of the Comprehensive Plan, as well as other content.
CPAG meetings will be held at City Hall Council Chambers and via Zoom. They are open to the public and there will be an opportunity at every meeting to offer public comment; community members can also submit written public comment to the staff liaison in advance of each meeting by 4 p.m. on the day of the meeting.
