The City of Mountlake Terrace contracts with the Sno-Isle Libraries to provide library services to the community at the Mountlake Terrace Library.


The mission of Sno-Isle Libraries is to be a community doorway to reading, resources, and lifelong learning, and a center for people, ideas, and culture. Currently, Sno-Isle Libraries provide library services to more than half a million residents of Snohomish and Island Counties.


Library services include books, movies, music, computers, software, color printers, Wi-Fi, databases, research, events, programs, and meeting rooms. The Library is not taking meeting room reservations at this time.

Hours (As of August 18, 2020)

The Library is offering contact-free services during the following hours:

  • Monday and Tuesday: 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. 
  • Wednesday-Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Friday and Saturday:  10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Sunday: 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
